I left the hospital today!! Makes you a little nervous after having a nurse a click away for the last month but it's exciting. I had a nap in a real bed with real blankets and a dark room. My counts have officially climbed back up into the normal range meaning the new cells have totally engrafted! Now I have 81 more days to be monitored here in the beautiful city of Seattle then get to return to the booming province of Saskatchewan and the -30 degree temperatures. Can't wait!!

So glad you are free to enjoy the little things that one does take for granted i.e. sleeping in a real bed in the dark - never seemed so special before I bet. I am glad your cells are settling in so well to theor new home and will enjoy living with you very much. I hope you are doing your assigned journal homework too (nag nag I know that that is what 2nd mothers do) Enjoy the sun and fresh air on your face and your beautiful surroundings.
