Day 10!

It's been ten days since the transplant! I'm still in the hospital because I've started to feel some side effects from the chemo and the big one is mouth pain. So for now I'm getting all my meds through iv and am also probably going to need liquid nutrition sometime in the near future. When I'm able to eat and take meds by mouth I'll be out if here and back at the apartment. It's been a really good experience here so fat the nurses and doctors are all super nice and more importantly know what the heck they are doing. I never thought I'd say this but I'm missing school even missing the midterms! I hope people are actually checking this blog out. Just want to let everyone know it's going really well and only 90 more days until I'm back in sask and enjoying the -30 degree weather!!

  3. We found you in the blog-o-sphere. Day 89 and counting down - Yea! Old recipe for sores in mouth: salt in warm water, slosh around mouth then spit. Repeat a few times/day. It hurts, but it does keep your mouth clean and the bacteria at bay. I speak from experience. Love, Auntie Lina
