Day 45
Had a super American thanksgiving with my dads side of the family this past weekend so that was fun. The only thing hat could have made it better would of been the Bombers winning the grey cup, it would have made a heart warming story haha. I have been feeling pretty good getting back into the gym the last week so that feels good / kicks my ass. In general everything has been good out here, now there's a couple weeks to rest up for the Christmas push starting with the arrival of Zody Gobbs and Cac Hriffin!!!!

Nov. 19th
Haven't updated this in a while and I know my family is just itching to read something. Nothing much has be men going on had a good weekend with Josh last weekend and now excited for Janna to get here tomorrow for a couple days. One of those days is my big 22nd birthday on Monday woot woot!! Not exactly what I thought I'd be doing on my 22nd but I'll make the best of it. On the medical side of things nothing too much is new there's a couple little things going on with my platelets but the docs don't seem to worried about it so I'm not too worried about it. Oo for everyone texting me telling me how cold it is back in Saskatchewan, I will trade you the snow and cold for the rain and wind any day because it SUCKS!!! Well that's about all I'm counting down the days till American thanksgiving to see my dads family and Christmas to see my moms side. If there's any big news let me know and I'll make sure to do the same. Peace

Yesss!!!
Had a great day!! Curtis and Ian came down for a visit today which was awesome but sorry to say they just got overshadowed. My nurse just called and told me that my bone marrow biopsy came back today and the results looked great with no signs of leukemia and looks exactly how they want it too!!!!! Happiest I've felt in 6 months.

Day 26
Hip is sore from the bone marrow biopsy I had today. Now just waiting to hear the results which is making the time pass very slowly. Ian and Curtis are coming down tomorrow for the day to visit, then Josh gets here Friday for the weekend. I'm very excited to hang out with people under the age of 50. Not saying my parents aren't super duper cool but it's a bit much. 84 more days until I can return home and you can bet that I'll be counting them down on the calendar. Happy birthday Janna!!!

Nov 6th
Happy 20th birthday to my younger cousin Ian!! Also congratulation to dryks for getting the sportsman of the year award. I'm starting to feel better getting some strength back going for walks around the city. We have found some gorgeous areas around the city and I must say it's a place I could see myself visiting and spending some time in the future under better circumstances. Have some cousins coming to visit next weekend which I'm excited for and hopefully they bring a dusting of snow from the prairies!!

Day 21
21 days post transplant and going strong. Little things keep coming up but the docs and staff here seem to be calm and ready to handle anything. Makes me feel confident in them which is comforting. It's been a couple days since leaving the hospital and still waiting to see the sun, I'm actually missing the snow! This rain everyday seems to make me colder then a foot of snow. Slowly getting better day by day seeing little improvements, I know it won't all get better overnight but I'll take what I can get. Ive learns lots through this process but now being patient is the most important thing.

Getting out of there
I left the hospital today!! Makes you a little nervous after having a nurse a click away for the last month but it's exciting. I had a nap in a real bed with real blankets and a dark room. My counts have officially climbed back up into the normal range meaning the new cells have totally engrafted! Now I have 81 more days to be monitored here in the beautiful city of Seattle then get to return to the booming province of Saskatchewan and the -30 degree temperatures. Can't wait!!
